Creative Financial employees collected many gently used winter coats, clothing and accessories and new undergarments and socks as part of our “Over & Under Community Outreach Project” to donate to Georgia’s local St. Vincent de Paul Society in an effort to help those in need.
As part of the Synovus Community Outreach 2016 Bottled Water Project, Creative Financial Group employees collected over 2,000 bottled waters to donate to our charity choice “H.O.M.E. – Helping Oppressed Mothers Endure” (http://www.home2heart.org/). The bottled water drive was held June 6 – 10, and our charity organization was able to use the donated water for their Annual 5K Run/Walk-a-thon fundraising event on Saturday, June 11th in Lithonia. Team Members from Creative participated in the walk as well.
Creative Financial Group Employees are sponsoring a collection of Lego sets (for boys and girls) as well as canvases, paint brushes, paint trays and acrylic paint to donate to the young patients at the hospital. These items will be enjoyed by a wide age-range of many young patients in any area of the hospital.
All contribution items must be brand new (purchased within the last 30 days, in original packaging with tags attached, if appropriate). This is to comply with their infection control policies.
Please add donations to the collection box in CFG’s reception area between Monday, March 14th through Monday, April 4th. All items collected will be delivered to the hospital April 5th.
Thank you for your support with this worthy cause. It will definitely help bring smiles to many young faces!
Creative team members spent another day visiting Gilgal on February 20th, 2016. Participants were Anne Glaser and her Mother, Marcella Mitchell, Linda Ridley, Angela Ochsenknecht, Pat Harris, Yvette Glover, Jeanne Fernandez, and our friend, Sharon Snyder. Denise Chisolm, SSI Compliance Officer, donated items for gift bags. We brought them lunch and games and had a wonderful day of fellowship.
On October 18, 2015, Angela Ochsenknecht, Pat Harris, Linda Ridley and Anne Glaser visited the “Women of Gilgal” center for an afternoon of dining, games and fellowship.
Gilgal’s mission is to educate, equip and empower women to embrace a future free of drugs/alcohol through day treatment, counseling, and life skills. Gilgal is in its tenth year of serving the Atlanta community. They operate two residential recovery homes, as well one administrative building. Each facility is equipped and staffed to aid women in their recovery and transition to independent living.
Here are some of the photos from that event.
